Dr. John Mahan
I provide comprehensive spine care. I treat patients with nonoperative methods when possible. I also provide surgical management when necessary, but treat fractures, lumbar stenosis, disc herniations, pinched nerves, and low back and leg pain, and have experience in minimally invasive surgery as well as complex revision procedures. I am easy to talk to and try to treat each patient as I would treat my own family.
I grew up in Indiana and graduated from Purdue. I have been working with Bluegrass Spine Care since 1998. I enjoy helping patients with scheduling, insurance authorization, and billing needs. When not at work, I love spending time with my family and friends and exploring the great outdoors.
